PEER-RABEN-MUSIC-AWARD at SoundTrack_Cologne 7.0
SoundTrack_Cologne again awards the prize for the best music in a short film for young upcoming composers - the PEER-RABEN-MUSIC-AWARD.
For the PEER-RABEN-MUSIC-AWARD which has been awarded for the first time in 2009 we are looking again for the best music to a short film. Awarded will be film scores where the relationship between the narration and the music and sound is innovative and dramaturgically clear.
All short films whose production was completed after 1 January 2009, or which had their premiere after 1 January 2009, are eligible for submission. All films with a maximum duration of 15 minutes, and in any industry standard format, will be considered. There are no restrictions regarding country of production, genre, or content. The film music must mainly have been written for the film. Submission for the PEER-RABEN-MUSIC-AWARD is also possible via the online-platform reelport (www.reelport.com). The prize is worth 1.500 euro. The modalities for submission can also be found on the SoundTrack_Cologne homepage.
Entry deadline for the competition is 30 July 2010. The twelve finalists will present their work (films, compositions) to the jury and the audience. The prize will be awarded at the official gala on 27 November 2010.
