SEE THE SOUND celebrates the interplay of image and sound, presenting an exclusive selection of films about music, nearly all of which would otherwise never make it to cinemas in Cologne. The festival features a fascinating programme including 23 music documentaries, 5 feature films, 14 short films, a silent film with live music, a game music concert, and an orchestral film music concert.

The programme spans a wide range of musical genres, from '80s synth-pop and ska-punk to the rave scenes of Berlin and Madrid. It also explores themes such as queer empowerment and experimental approaches to music-making.

Today, we are excited to share the highlights of our Wednesday programme with you, including the Game Composer Music Concert by Austrian electronic music artist Zanshin at the 674FM Konzertraum, presented by Bob Humid and Uli Sigg.
