Jan Willem de With was educated to a head of church choir in 2009. From 2012 to 2013, he was trained as a media composer at the S.E.T School Cologne. He was a finalist at the KIKA TV show “Dein Song” for young up-and-coming composers. He finished his studies in composition for film music at the ‘Züricher Hochschule der Künste in Zürich’ in 2017 and is now continuing his studies at the Royal College of Music in London. He won the 1st price at the Int. Competition Maurice Ravel in 2015 and the ‘Deutsche Filmmusikpreis’ in 2016.
