AcadeMeet
AcadeMeet is an education meeting platform at Soundtrack_Cologne, for higher education institutions, lecturers and professors, and their students focussing on media music and sound design. The meetings are held at a special meeting in Soundtrack_Cologne, and are headed by Dr. Yati Durant (composer and director of IMMSANE).
Formerly called EEAMS, AcadeMeet has been a leading yearly meeting for European colleagues since 2014. The meetings enable discussions on cross-institutional practice, generate International collaborations, and also offer current research and dialogue in contemporary media music practices. The International Media Music and Sound Arts Network in Education (IMMSANE) was founded through AcadeMeet, and also holds their yearly European Institutional meetings there.
All industry colleagues and Soundtrack_Cologne 23 participants are also welcome to the meetings by invitation.
The next AcadeMeet takes place during Soundtrack_Cologne 23 on 15th and 16th of July, 2026.

International Media Music and Sound Arts Network in Education
The International Media Music and Sound Arts Network in Education (IMMSANE) is an initiative to support global higher education programmes in these fields to collaborate, disseminate research and pedagogy and link with industry. The network enhances partner institutional relationships through meetings at international film festivals and sharing information on this website, email and social media platforms.

IMMSANE is directed by Dr. Yati Durant (MSCN, AcadeMeet at SoundTrack_Cologne) and developed together with Prof. André Bellmont (Zurich University of the Arts, Composition for Film, Theatre and Media) out of the European Education Alliance for Music and Sound in media (EEAMS) at SoundTrack_Cologne to expand collaboration, develop initiatives and research and share pedagogy with educators and industry professionals around the world.
