Oliver Patrice Weder is a Swiss artist based in Amsterdam and London. As a composer, he works for the number one sampling company Spitfire Audio and heads their music production department.

Having started out as a keys player, he toured and released many LP’s and EP’s across Europe with several bands including the folk rock band ‘Time for T’, for which he also produced and arranged the debut album ‘Hoping Something Anything’.

Since graduating from Berklee College of Music Valencia in 2014 with a Master in scoring for film and television, he has written scores for BBC prime time television documentaries, won an award for best score for his first feature film ‘Low Notes’ at the ‘Indie Fest USA International Film Festival’ in 2016, has orchestrated on Keaton Henson’s album ‘Kindly Now’ and acted as a creative advisor for the Masters program at Leeds College of Music, before he then started working with award-winning composers Christian Henson, Paul Thomson or Samuel Sim.

Oliver’s most recent work includes a collaboration with Homay Schmitz for the score of the horror movie ‘The Haunting’, for which they’ve created their own online series ‘Inside The Score’, documenting the whole process of writing music for a feature film.

Currently, Oliver is working on his debut album coming out later this year, having released three of his tracks as solo piano pieces in April 2018, in honour of Piano Day 2018.
